Sustaining Sound Management
JRF is governed by a Board of Trustees that is chaired by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. The Board is essential to the well-being and effectiveness of the Foundation, and is responsible for developing its strategy and policy. Each member has individual key responsibilities, and with the support and direction of the Board’s Legal Advisor, Mr. Saed Karajah, all members ensure that the organization stays within the law.
As the guardians of JRF’s purpose, the Board works with the management team to direct the strategy of the organization, and ensure that its finances are used appropriately, prudently, lawfully and in accordance with its objectives.
The successful management of JRF is attributed to the capabilities, expertise and dedication of its management team, who work diligently to ensure demand-driven implementation and facilitation of its programs and activities.
The Team develops long-term strategies that reflect and embody the mission and vision of the Foundation, and transform its priorities into focused activities that strive to achieve maximum impact and involvement in local communities.
JRF employs 277 qualified and experienced staff that manage its programs, centers and services. These individuals take part in continuous training and capacity building activities to enhance their knowledge and skills, and to ensure that the Foundation continuously retains a cadre of professional staff who encourage creativity, take initiative and collaborate as a team.
