The Society of Majid Bin Abdulaziz for Development and Social Services – Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: JRF began its consultancy and training services in the social development sector for the Society of Majid Bin Abdulaziz in 2007. For the Society to organize, develop and strengthen its role in the area of social development in Saudi Arabia, JRF worked on creating and developing projects and initiatives through strategies, action plans, capacity building services for the Society’s staff and communities in targeted areas. The Society’s members have visited JRF several times to benefit from its experience in the development process through its Child Protection, Community Empowerment and Capacity Building programs. The visiting society staff was trained on the management of revolving funds, and on the management of the handicrafts workshop and showroom. JRF will continue to work as team with the Majid Society to transfer knowledge and expertise, and ultimately, to emulate the JRF model in Saudi Arabia.
Al Saleh Foundation - Yemen: JRF signed an agreement with the Social Fund in Yemen to provide services to Al Saleh Foundation, based on a proposal JRF submitted in March 2008. JRF’s role and goal is to improve the performance of the Al Saleh Foundation, by providing the following: (1) An institutional assessment; (2) A five year strategic plan; (3) A restructuring plan; (4) A capacity building action plan; and (5) HR, financial, and operations manuals.
The Savola Group – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: JRF was selected as the Savola Group’s strategic partner to study the development of its handicrafts center, which falls under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) portfolio. The Group selected JRF as its partner after a long vetting process, which included the in-depth research of specialized organizations that can deliver such a project.
Under the agreement, JRF will prepare a full-fledged four month study that will include field studies and programs to identify needs, and develop an ideal model for implementation. Work on the Study began in December 2011, and will include a series of workshops and meetings with various stakeholders, in addition to specialized workshops with internal stakeholders within the Group.
