Beit Sagheer

Under the leadership and continuous support of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the Jordan River Foundation developed this TV program “Beit Sagheer” highlighting positive parenting education, founded in the principles of child development. By reaching literally millions of Arab mothers and fathers locally and regionally, the Jordan River Foundation’s long-term positive impact of protecting children will be broadened and deepened significantly.
This TV program on child safety is presented by Dr. Hala Hammad, Director of the Jordan River Foundation Child Safety Program, and a specialist in early childhood development. The first 13 episodes were launched on March 8, 2004. Due to the high feedback and the researched public need of information and education on proper child-rearing practices, phase two and phase three of the TV program “Beit Sagheer” are to be implemented soon.
