Ways To Help:
As a leading non-profit, non-governmental organization,
financial support for the diverse activities of the
Foundation comes from a variety of sources. Many of our
activities are made possible by grants designated for
specific projects or programs from local and international
donors including individuals, governments, foundations and
businesses. Such support has very specific objectives that
limit the method these funds are utilized and are referred
to as “restricted funds.”
Another category of support for the Foundation is “unrestricted
funds” acquired through individual and corporate
donations either directly submitted to JRF or raised through
fundraising events such as our annual Ramadan Iftar, planned
and implemented by JRF staff and our esteemed volunteers and
under the auspices of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah.
Such “unrestricted funds” provide an essential flow
of support toward activities for the Child Safety Program,
enabling us to continue offering high-quality services to
assist children and families that have no where else to
turn.
An Open Invitation!
We encourage all those who believe in the vision and mission
of the Foundation to join us in the task of securing
resources to address the root causes of social and economic
challenges facing Jordanian society. This collective
responsibility requires support from all sectors of society,
and the cooperation of regional and international
individuals and entities. Please join us in rising to this
worthwhile challenge. Here’s how you can help:
Corporations
Leading corporations are now considering social
responsibility as a staple to their operations, realizing
that as part of society they must contribute to its
challenges and needs in constructive ways. Such visionary
companies recognize that social and economic problems in
their communities have an impact on their performance and
that they have an ethical responsibility to give back to the
communities they serve.
Many companies have foundations or departments that
administer their donations. If you work for a corporation,
research your company’s policies and mechanisms, and
nominate the Jordan River Foundation to benefit from these
funds. If your company does not have formal channels for
such donations, encourage them to do so. Secure the
sponsorship of the corporation for a JRF activity
or project as a way to publicly demonstrate its commitment
to social responsibility.
Have your company commit to the foundation in a sustainable
way. Join the
membership program by making annual donations
that will continuously support JRF activities, or place an
endowment to help JRF form a solid financial base
of unrestricted funds.
Individuals
The contributions of time, creativity and financial
resources of individuals of all ages and abilities provide
critical support to non-profit non-governmental
organizations internationally. If you are inspired by the
activities and programs of the Foundation here are some ways
you can help:

Make a
personal commitment to the foundation in a sustainable
way. Join the
membership
program as an individual, or place an
endowment
to provide JRF with ongoing unrestricted funds.

Enlist
community service organizations you are active with
(faith-related organizations, social associations, etc.)
to
donate
to the Foundation’s activities. A donation can also
apply to fulfilling your religious charitable
obligations (Zakat.

Little
ones get involved! Children are tomorrow’s citizens and
are often eager to help build a better world. Use the
Child’s contract
we have designed to help
children get involved. Get your school involved in
supporting the Foundation's programs that benefit less
fortunate children. Encourage your class in designing a
fundraising event to help your classmates reach out to
those in need!
Volunteers
Volunteers are welcome to assist the Foundation perform its
duties toward empowering communities and safeguarding
children. Volunteering activities range from simple
administrative tasks to community mobilization activities,
training, caring for children and children’s activities.
JRF will be accepting
