JRF Wins Arab Government Excellence Award for Best Youth Empowerment Initiative
JRF has won the award for Best Youth Empowerment Initiative within the Arab Government Excellence Awards in its fourth session, which commenced at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo.
The award coincides with JRF’s 30th anniversary celebrations; a great symbolic value that crowns three decades of dedicated work in community empowerment and child safety.
The award was received by JRF’s Projects Manager Nizar Al-Salibi, who stated in remarks to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that this award is a celebration and recognition of the Foundation's ongoing efforts in economically and socially empowering youth. Al-Salibi reiterated that the Foundation continues to implement its purposeful initiatives and projects, stressing that "young people are the focus of development and the pillar of Jordan's future."
This prestigious recognition reflects the royal vision that consistently emphasizes the role of youth as one of the most important levers of national development, and embodies the ambitious institutional efforts undertaken by JRF to translate this vision on the ground through innovative programs and initiatives that create real opportunities for youth and contribute to building their capacities
