War Child Partners with Local NGOs under €3M Program, Empowering Children in Jordan

AMMAN – War Child has signed partnership agreements with key development organizations in Jordan to implement a €3M child empowerment program across the Kingdom. Partners include the Jordan River Foundation, Athar Association for Youth Development, NAYA for Training and Community Development and Rowad Al Khair Association. Funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the 2024–2028 program was launched to offer psychosocial support services for children.
War Child Regional Director Dely Kyorakayi emphasized the importance of the program in developing local capacity to deliver sustainable, quality interventions, from training to ongoing technical support. Meanwhile, War Child in Jordan Manager Mohammad Awamreh pointed that the organization will closely supervise program roll-out; ensuring quality and sustainability through continuous training and evaluation.
Pier de Vries, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Jordan, underlined the significance of these partnerships in empowering communities, strengthening resilience, and promoting inclusive, sustainable child protection and social development programming.
