JRF, Al Ameed Coffee Sign Partnership Supporting Women Empowerment Programs
As part of their shared commitment to strengthening women’s economic participation, the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) and Al Ameed Coffee have signed a strategic partnership agreement supporting the Foundation’s Social Enterprises designed to equip women with the skills, opportunities, and resources needed to expand their presence in the labor market and play a more active role in driving economic and social development.
This collaboration reflects both parties’ dedication to sustainable development and meaningful corporate social responsibility. It also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8 — Decent Work and Economic Growth — by advancing women’s economic empowerment and fostering long-term, sustainable social and economic impact.
Under the agreement, Al Ameed Coffee will support JRF in reaching more local community women; strengthening their professional skills and enhancing their productive capacities via specialized vocational trainings.
JRF emphasized that this partnership is part of its broader strategy to deepen collaboration with the private sector, amplifying its role in supporting local communities, and creating lasting economic opportunities for local communities.
Al Ameed Coffee reaffirmed that the agreement reflects its vision for corporate social responsibility and its belief in supporting development initiatives that generate tangible social and economic impact. The company’s CSR management further highlighted that this partnership represents an investment in people — particularly in women — recognizing their central role in building more resilient and sustainable communities.
